Northland Tour (New Zealand) – 3 days

Northland 3 Day Tour

Hands up how many in New Zealand have visited Northland and travelled as far north as Cape Reinga. Percentage wise its not high. A number seem to think Northland stops at the Bay Of Islands yet 2 of the icons of the north are much farther north. Ninety Mile Beach and Cape Reinga.

Did you know a number of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand are in fact in the far north. Northland.

There are 2 long weekends coming. We are offering 3 day tours Auckland to Cape Reinga and back to Auckland.

Day 1 you will depart Auckland around 8.30am. We will do several brief stops on route to Paihia in the Bay of Islands. At 1pm approximately you are going to board the dolphin boat for a cruise. Hopefully you will get to see dolphins. You will cruise around the beautiful Bay of Islands. Weather permitting travel through the famous hole in the rock.

You will have the opportunity to disembark at Russel and have a walk around before catching a ferry across to meet us again in Paihia. We will give you the opportunity to have dinner in Paihia before heading north to Kaitaia and your accommodation for the 2 night stay.

Day 2 you will board the Harrisons Beach Bus or you have the opportunity of paying a little more for an exclusive 4wd tour up Ninety Mile Beach to Cape Reinga. A picnic lunch at the very beautiful Tapotpotu Bay 10 minute from the lighthouse. 7 hours approximate. A day you wont forget.

Day 3 we head across to the west coast and travel down through the extremely picturesque Opononi. Cameras will be clicking. We will visit New Zealands largest tree, the giant Tane Mahuta in Waipoua Forest.

There will be several more stops before returning to Auckland.

All that for just $500 per person share twin/double accommodation. If requiring single accommodation, add $80.
