Some say the South Island is more beautiful than our North Island. I would challenge that.
The beauty in the North Island is vastly different to the South Island, but no less beautiful. The North Island offers the snow capped mountains to the pristine beaches. It has the beautiful lush scenic bush but yes it has a far higher human population. This makes it seem busier, which no question it is.
We travel the whole country but equally love the North to the South.
