From a big business background retiring at aged 54 and headed to the far north to follow a passion of fishing but more importantly to follow a dream of entering in to the tourism arena.
And along came Xiaoli
Xiaoli – Peter’s wife as of 2009
Xiaoli joined Peter early 2009 where they ventured jointly into the tourism market. Xiaoli also from a big business background, but across Mainland China. And yes fluent 6 languages including English.
Peter and Xiaoli established a business then known as FISH FAR NORTH offering home stay on the edge of Ninety Mile Beach in the very far north of New Zealand plus 4wd executive tours up Ninety Mile Beach to Cape Reinga.
From there Peter and Xiaoli Tours was born but no longer just the far north. Customers asked us to guide them around New Zealand but in particular the South Island. And from there its history with Peter often on the roads around New Zealand doing private individual or small group tours.
Fully licensed to drive all size passenger vehicles. Licensed by the Department of Conservation to take tourists to our beautiful National Parks. And one of still only 2 private operators allowed to take tourists up Ninety Mile Beach to Cape Reinga.
Peter and Xiaoli Tours does not offer packaged tours. Every tour is individually planned to meet the needs and wish list of those travelling with us.
